Position Summary

Innovative Contractors is seeking dedicated, reliable, and skilled Plumbing & Piping Technicians to join our team. If you have solid foundational experience with commercial, industrial, or utility pipe systems and are looking for a stable, long-term career, this is the position for you. We are looking for individuals who take initiative, possess strong mechanical instincts, and maintain high standards of quality, we are fully prepared to provide advanced training for specialized skills like confined space entry.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Piping Installation: Lay out, fit, and install various types of commercial or industrial valves and piping infrastructure.

  • Confined Space Operations: Work safely within specialized vaults and confined spaces according to safety standards (Required—will train and certify if needed).

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Utilize mechanical aptitude to interpret layouts, use trade tools, and ensure high-quality, leak-free installations.

  • Site Care & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment to prevent hazards and ensure a safe job site.

  • Precision Execution: Focus heavily on detail to ensure all piping, fittings, and components align perfectly with project specifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Proven foundational experience in plumbing, commercial pipefitting, or industrial piping systems.

  • Core Skills: Self-motivated worker who takes initiative, exhibits sound judgment, and makes smart decision-making choices in the field.

  • Driving Record: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to regularly manipulate and lift up to 50 pounds, and push or pull up to 100 pounds on active job sites.
