Position Summary

Innovative Contractors is seeking a dedicated, reliable, and hands-on Utilities Maintenance Lead Supervisor to run an active field crew. In this critical leadership role, you will oversee field operations, manage daily crew assignments, and ensure the successful execution of critical municipal and commercial infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and extensive experience in water and wastewater environments. Essential Responsibilities

  • Crew Leadership: Direct, motivate, and supervise a dedicated field crew to complete daily maintenance and installation tasks safely and efficiently.

  • System Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical failures and operational issues across utility systems to execute quick, effective field repairs.

  • Facility Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency maintenance for lift stations, water treatment plants, and wastewater treatment plants.

  • Utility Installation: Utilize foundational knowledge to properly install, realign, and replace valves and piping infrastructure within utility settings.

  • Safety Culture: Enforce strict OSHA compliance and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work site at all times.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience in utility maintenance, with specific exposure to water/wastewater treatment facilities or lift stations.

  • Leadership Skills: Previous supervisory or crew leader experience with a track record of driving reliability and team accountability.

  • Driving Record: Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record to operate company service vehicles.

  • Flexibility: Must have a strong willingness to work overtime hours as required by critical project deadlines or emergency repairs.

  • Physical Ability: Able to work outdoors in variable weather conditions, lift heavy equipment, and navigate active industrial utility sites.
